Prosperity Advisory Group Named to 2017 Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisers

We are pleased to announce that we have been named to the 2017 edition of the Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisers. This is the third year in a row that Prosperity Advisory Group has been named to this elite group.

Prosperity is the only firm in Kansas City to have been named to this year’s list.
Prosperity is one of only 80 firms in the country to have been named to the FT400 three years in a row.
Prosperity is the only firm in KS and MO to have been named to the FT400 three years in a row
The list recognizes top financial advisers at national, independent, regional and bank broker-dealers from across the U.S. This is the fifth annual FT 400 list, produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on asset management.

Financial advisers from across the broker-dealer channel applied for consideration, having met a set of minimum requirements. The applicants were then graded on six criteria: assets under management (AUM); AUM growth rate; experience; advanced industry credentials; online accessibility; and compliance records. There are no fees or other considerations required of advisers who apply for the FT 400.

The final FT 400 represents an impressive cohort of elite advisers, as the “average” adviser in this year’s FT 400 has 27 years’ experience and manages $1.7 billion in assets. The FT 400 advisers hail from 38 states and Washington, D.C.

Joel Morrison Earned his Certified Financial Planner™ Certification

Joel Morrison passed the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) exam in March and has earned his CFP® credentials.

Most people think that all financial planners are “certified”, but this isn’t true. Anyone can use the title “financial planner.” Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of the CFP Board can use the credentials, which represent a high level of competency, ethics and professionalism. And because they are held to a fiduciary standard of care when providing financial planning services, a CFP® professional is required to act in your best interest.

Joel joins Paul Ewing, Angela Brill and William Easley as CFP®s who proudly serve you and your family.
